So my friend R tells me that I need to update my Blog. Clearly, I am not one of these people who writes every day... my life is far to boring for that. And seeing as R is the only one who reads my blog and actually cares, I could just send her a daily email. But alas... this blog is for her.
So today.... woke up at 600am. Had set the timer on my hot rollers to come on at 530, so they were nice and hot when I got up. (I know... who does that? But it takes less time to shower the night before and hot roll in the morning then it does to blowdry my hair before work.) Ran out the door at 639. Got half way down the street and realized I had forgotten something...came home. Ran out the door at second time at 642 with a handful of tampons... ran in to neighbour on the driveway...nice! Got stuck in traffic over the Hunt Club bridge... was cursing b/c I was already running late.
Work.... Not much I can say due to the whole confidentiality thing. Had a busy day orienting new staff in the PICU. Spent my lunch hour at morbidity and Mortality Rounds... yes, it is as morbid as it sounds.
1935... my 12 hour shift is over, my feel are swollen and my legs hurt. Watched Canadas Next Top Model while eating dinner.... popcorn. Off to bed now because I have to do the whole thing again tomorrow.
How is that for an update?
